SEQOHS stands for Safe, Effective, Quality Occupational Health Service and is a voluntary accreditation scheme for occupational health services in the UK. The scheme is managed by the Royal College of Physicians of London on behalf of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine.
SEQOHS accreditation is the formal recognition that an occupational health service provider has demonstrated the competence to deliver against established standards. The scheme is an integral part of the health industry, accepted in both the public and private sectors as the recognised industry standard.
The SEQOHS standards are designed for occupational health services in the public and private sectors, large and small, in the UK and beyond. They articulate the expectations of a safe, effective, quality occupational health service.
Blossoms were the first first independent health provider to be awarded accredited status in the City of London in July 2014. We were proud to be complimented on our training programmes, employee materials and our positive team environment.
Re-accredited in June 2016
We’re delighted to have been re-accredited for the third time, following a robust audit and appraisal of our work, procedures and governance over the last year. You can read about our re-accreditation here.
The standards focus on core health and business practices; with financial propriety, maintaining records, protecting confidentiality, clinical competence, governance, handling medicines, equipment, ethics, customer focus, respecting colleagues and maintaining professional standards.
The full standards can be accessed online.
