Lianne trained at the University of Cape Town, South Africa, where she gained experience in various specialities in hospital posts. She also completed a year of rural medicine and then worked as a GP in South Africa before moving to the UK. After a period in the NHS doing emergency and general medicine she started working full-time in private general practice, since which time she has rapidly developed a fine reputation as an outstanding primary care physician.

Lianne has an interest in psychological wellness and in women’s health, with a post graduate qualification in women’s health. She is also currently undertaking a course in Occupational Medicine.
